New Patients: What to Expect

WELCOME

Before the first adjustment, all new patients will receive a:

Health Consultation

Gonstead Chiropractic Exam

Full-Spine X-Rays

Review of Findings

This allows the whole picture to your health to be revealed and leaves no stone unturned.

First Visit

  • I start with a health consultation to get a baseline of your health and receive information on how best to help you. This can be very in depth, because I want to know the whole story!

  • Next is a gonstead chiropractic exam to add objective findings to solidify the information you shared during the health consultation.

  •  Full-Spine x-rays will follow. This is a unique addition to complete the whole Gonstead system and one of the most important pieces of the exam. The x-ray will show the position of each bone in your spine. See The Gonstead Technique to learn more about why we take x-rays.

  • Day 1 will take about 1-1.5 hours. For the exam, Males may wear a gown or be shirtless. Females will be asked to wear a gown. I cannot give high quality care without being able to see and feel the whole back and spine.

  • No adjustment today! All of the information you shared with me during the health consultation, as well as the exam, and x-ray findings must be put together like a puzzle piece. Along with some calculations and measurements on the x-rays must be done before providing you with excellent care.

  •  Appointment will be about 30 minutes. We will go over all the information from your health consultation, exam, and x-rays to put into perspective where you are on the health scale, and create a plan to remove subluxations, and start your restorative journey back to health.

  • After we discuss the above, it is time for your first adjustment!!

  • 15-minute appointments are followed after. A spinal assessment will be performed at every visit after to ensure top tier quality chiropractic care. I value your time as you take your next steps to health at Restoration Chiropractic.
